Leg Cramping

An extremely common symptom of varicose veins is leg cramping. This cramping is most often worse at night, or after a long day of sitting or standing. When patients feel severe cramping at night, it is a sign that fluid is accumulating during the day, causing contraction at night. Dr. Hamilton can perform an ultrasound to determine if your leg cramping is due to venous insufficiency or possibly a vitamin deficiency.
