About Dr. Chauvin

Dr. Chauvin is Board Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiology physician at Hamilton Vascular in Katy, Texas.  His education and career experience allow him to diagnose and treat patients using minimally invasive techniques for a variety of diseases, including diabetic vascular disease, arterial vascular disease, vein compression syndrome, venous insufficiency, uterine fibroids, and vertebral compression fractures. 

Dr. Chauvin graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans with his medical degree in 2003.  He completed his radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine.  Furthering his education, Dr Chauvin competed his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Miami, FL. 

Before joining the expert team at Hamilton Vascular, Dr. Chauvin served as the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology for Radiology Partners Houston as well as diplomate for the American Board of Radiology.   

Dr. Chauvin’s passion for helping patients to avoid major surgery by treating venous and arterial disease brought him to Hamilton Vascular.  Patients suffering from peripheral artery disease, spider veins, varicose veins, diabetic vascular disease, edema, leg discoloration, deep vein thrombosis, chronic venous insufficiency, uterine fibroids, and more can turn to Dr. Chauvin for top-quality care. He offers conservative treatments, angioplasty, atherectomy, arterial stents, venous stents, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), sclerotherapy, uterine fibroid embolization, and numerous other minimally invasive procedures.

When he’s not seeing patients, Dr. Chauvin enjoys spending time with his two kids, traveling, and fishing.
