About Dr. Chauvin

Dr. Dean Chauvin is the director of StrideCare in Katy, Texas with more that 11 years of experience and knowledge as a Board Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. His education and career experience allow him to diagnose and treat patients using minimally invasive techniques for a variety of diseases. 

Dr. Chauvin graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans with his medical degree in 2003. He went on to complete his radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and his vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute in Miami. 

Prior to joining the StrideCare team, Dr. Chauvin served as the Medical Director of Interventional Radiology for Radiology Partners Houston as well as diplomate for the American Board of Radiology. He was named 2015 Physician of the Year at Memorial City’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and is a seven-time recipient of the prestigious Top Doctor Award presented in Houston’s own Houstonia Magazine

Dr. Chauvin’s passion for helping patients avoid major surgery by treating vascular disease brought him to StrideCare. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Chauvin enjoys spending time with his two children, traveling and fishing.
