Mary Parker, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN at Hamilton Vein Center in San Antonio, Texas. Her personal experience with vein disease led to a new career focus, where she helps others with similar vein problems.
Dr. Parker earned a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering/chemical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. She went on to earn her medical degree and graduated at the top of her class at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. She then served as chief resident in OB/GYN at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas, before starting her career as an OB/GYN.
Dr. Parker practiced as an OB/GYN for over 25 years in Oklahoma and Dallas, Texas, before joining her husband, William Parker, MD, at Hamilton Vein Center. After experiencing vein disease for many years, she wanted to help others with similar vein conditions receive expert treatment.
When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Parker enjoys spending time with her adult children, running, knitting, cycling, and reading.
