William Parker, MD, FACS
About Dr. William Parker
William, J Parker, MD FACS, RPhs is a board-certified general surgeon and a vascular surgeon at Hamilton Vascular in San Antonio, Texas. Dr Parker is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Parker graduated with Summa Cum Laude from the Texas A&M University in College Station before earning his medical degree with honors at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Parker was voted as top chief resident in Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
While at Baylor, Dr. Parker taught Trauma, Vascular, and General Surgery as a clinical professor. Later, while serving as the chairman of surgery in Oklahoma, Dr. Parker was nominated as United States Surgeon General under President George Bush.
Outside the practice, Dr. Parker enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary Parker, MD, FACOG. They celebrate over 30 years of marriage and have three adult children. In his free time, he enjoys running marathons, biking, and hiking.
